RENTERS INFORMATION
Flight Ready Aviation requires all renters to pay a one-time application fee of $99.00 and to receive a checkout flight with a Flight Ready Aviation approved flight instructor. The checkout flight is required for our new Flight Ready Aviation customers before rental privileges become active. Checkouts are valid for a period of 12 calendar months from the date of completing the checkout. There are three categories of rental privileges: Day VFR, IFR, and Night. You will only be required to complete a checkout for the type of rental privileges you need. For example, if you are a private pilot with an instrument rating, but you only need rental privileges for VFR operations, you will not be required to complete an IFR checkout. Flight Ready Aviation Staff members will confirm prior to your checkout your logbook to see if you have the three full stop night landings within the last 90 days,to be allowed night rental privileges. If you do not have three full stop landings within 90 days, you will be required to perform three full stop landings with a Flight Ready Aviation instructor before receiving night rental privileges.
In addition all renters must obtain renters insurance with a minimum value of $40,000 for Aircraft Damage Liability.
